Ice Fishing Tour Packages

Absolutely not! All our tours are specifically designed for complete beginners with zero experience. Our certified guides will teach you everything from scratch — ice safety, drilling technique, bait setup, fishing technique, and fish identification. If you can hold a fishing rod, you can ice fish with us!

Dress in warm, waterproof layers. We recommend thermal base layers, a warm mid-layer (fleece or down), and a waterproof outer jacket and pants. Warm waterproof boots are essential. Bring warm gloves, a hat, and neck gaiter. If you don't have appropriate winter gear, let us know and we can arrange rental equipment.

Safety is our absolute top priority. We only operate when ice thickness exceeds 20cm (8 inches), which safely supports multiple people and equipment. Our team checks ice conditions daily with professional ice thickness gauges. Every tour begins with a thorough ice safety briefing, and all participants receive ice safety picks as standard equipment.

Yes! We love having families with kids on our tours. The minimum age for our Family Ice Fishing Day tour is 6 years old. For the Beginner Intro and Full Day tours, children must be at least 10 years old. The Night tour is for guests 16 and older. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Our lakes are home to a variety of species including Perch, Pike, Walleye, Burbot, and Whitefish. Perch is by far the most commonly caught fish for beginners — they're active under the ice and take bait readily. We operate our catch guarantee: if you don't catch any fish during the session, we'll offer you a complimentary return trip!

In the rare event that weather conditions are unsafe for ice fishing (extreme blizzard, unsafe temperatures), we will contact you at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule your tour at no additional charge. We monitor weather forecasts daily and make safety the priority. A full refund is available if we cannot find a suitable alternative date.
